REGISTRATION OF JOINT VENTURES

In order to be registered joint ventures shouid submit:

1.Written application of the founders requesting registration of the joint venture to be set up;
2.Notarized copies of the charter documents in two copies;
3.Conclusion of relevant examinations in cases provided by law;
4.Documents to be submitted by Russian legal entities:
* Notarized copy of the foundation documents for each legal entity participating in the establishment of the joint venture,-
* Notarized copy of the decision of the property owner about the establishment of the joint venture or a copy of the authorized body,-
5.Documents to be submitted by the foreign investor.-
Statement from the trade register of the country of origin or other adequate proof of the legal status (or the status of the entrepreneur for physical persons) of the foreign investor in accordance with the legislature of his country's location, citizenship or permanent residence,-
Document testifying to the foreign investor's solvency issued by the bank providing services to him or by another credit and financial organization.

REGISTRATION OF COMPANIES WHOLLY OWNED BY FOREIGN INVESTORS

The following documents are required to register companies fully owned by foreign investors:
Wtitten application for registration of a foreign investor,-
Notarized copy of the incorporation documents (in two copies),-

ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL REFORMS OF NEW PRESIDENT AND GOVERNMENT OF RUSSIA

New Russian President Vladimir Putin was elected in March, 2000. He started his activity from analyzing of the situation in the country. In 50-minute Kremlin speech Putin said about the main obstacles to growth in Russia, "high taxes, arbitrariness of officials and rampant crime." In another speech he described a Russia riven with regional discord, weakened by massive capital flight and official corruption.
The situation in the country was asking new, active policy. Vladimir Putin laid out commitments to protect private property rights, slash subsidies to unprofitable industries, streamline the cumbersome state bureaucracy, cut taxes and tariffs, reform the banking sector, and end welfare assistance to all but the poorest Russians. In the 50-minute Kremlin speech the President pledged to increase competition and reduce corruption. Also Putin said that Russia would pursue a confident but unthreatening foreign policy that puts domestic needs first. He said those priorities included an end to international loans and credits, joining the global "information revolution" and catching up to more-developed nations. The President remarked that "only a strong - use the word 'effective' if you don't like strong - only an effective and democratic state is capable of protecting civic, political and economic freedoms"...

The population of Russia is 150 million and this a huge market. Your company can sell almost anything there if it has correct marketing and well organized advertising. More over, Moscow is the biggest distribution center of the whole CIS. Cargos arrive to Moscow and then the arrived goods are selling as wholesale to thousands smaller firms and single undertakers from different cities of Russia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc.
Russian food market was changed a lot last 5 years. Russian enterprises began to produce better quality, taste and assortment meat and milk production with affordable prices...
Russia does not produce its own computers, printers. etc. This is what Russian people buy abroad. We can include in this list also modern technique, equipment for kitchens like juicemakers, microwave ovens, electric ovens, also washing machines, video and audio players,etc. Russia produce some of these tecknique but often foreign production better because of the updated tecnologies.
Huge quantity of fashionable and every day wearing wool, leather, textile clothes, footwear are also imported to Russia. For a example, fur coats from China. Tribune News Service informed us recently abou some aspects of Russian-Chinese trade. A correspondent describes Yabaolu Market in Chinese city Beijing' "The shoppers are part of a gathering stream of Eastern European and Central Asian merchants and tourists who have transformed a section of China's capital into what could be called Russiatown...
Signs above restaurants, hotels and bars are in Russian. Even the Chinese pedicab drivers and sidewalk fruit vendors call out for customers in the language of Vladimir Putin...
... since the Soviet Union collapsed, some of those connections (between Russia and China. Remark of the author) have been renewed. Two-way trade is only about $5 billion per year, but both countries are trying to increase it...
Here, proof of improved relations between China and the states of the former Soviet Union can be found in the thousands of fur coats for sale.
